Ah! Labour Day Weekend! A time to give thanks for the Gift Of Work – truly ‘work’ is a blessing! Ask anyone who is searching for a job, for employment and not finding any…so let us be grateful for our blessings and our treasures!
This weekend also marks the “return” of our regular schedule – summer vacation is over, children will be back to school, the parish returns to ‘normal’ – like meetings galore, and programs and projects…must confess, however, I’m happy when this takes place…soooo WELCOME BACK AND WELCOME HOME! so good to pray with you again! Let’s all actively participate in our organizations and projects.
Actually, I should be writing all of this next week…since I can only assume from past experience that many parishioners will be away, taking advantage of the last long weekend of summer. Definitely pleased you are here and praying with us today!
